$25 an hour is $52,000 a year before tax: $25 × 40 hours × 52 weeks.
The quick rule: double the hourly rate and add three zeros. $25 an hour ≈ $50,000 a year.
To go the other way, divide a yearly salary by 2,080. $60,000 a year is $28.85 an hour.
$25 an hour is $52,000 a year before tax, if you work 40 hours a week for 52 weeks. That works out to about $4,333 a month, $2,000 every two weeks, $1,000 a week and $200 a day.

How to convert an hourly wage to a yearly salary
Yearly salary = Hourly rate × Hours per week × Weeks per year
A full-time year is 40 × 52 = 2,080 hours, so you can simply multiply your hourly rate by 2,080. For a fast estimate in your head, double the hourly rate and add three zeros: $25 an hour is roughly $50,000 a year. The exact figure is a little higher because a year has 52 weeks, not 50.
All figures are before tax, at 40 hours a week and 52 paid weeks.

What changes the real number
Unpaid time off. With two unpaid weeks, $25 an hour is 50 × 40 × $25 = $50,000 a year.
Part-time hours. At 30 hours a week, $25 an hour is $39,000 a year.
Overtime. Under US federal law, covered employees must get at least 1.5 times their regular rate for hours over 40 in a workweek (US Department of Labor). At $25 an hour, that's $37.50 for each overtime hour. Five overtime hours every week would add $9,750 a year.
Taxes and deductions. Everything here is gross pay. Take-home pay depends on where you live, your filing status and deductions such as retirement and health insurance.
If you're a freelancer or contractor
A freelancer charging $25 an hour does not earn $52,000 a year. You won't bill all 2,080 hours, because some time goes on finding clients, admin and unpaid gaps. You also pay your own taxes, equipment and benefits. Work out the rate you actually need with the freelance hourly rate calculator.
